product review!

Splat washables!



         What is it?:
      washable Hair dye 

        who's it for?:  
     any Hair color! 

        how to use it:
 on dry hair apply a small amount to the section of hair you want to dye, then using the brush that comes in the box, comb the color through your hair, and let dry.

        Color:
we used blue but it comes in lots of colors! 

    texture/consistency:
      like paint 

      cost:
    $8.00 





                       What we Liked about this product:
  its vary easy to apply! we love the bright color for soccer games and school spirit! and it washes out easy! 

                       what we didn't like about it:
  it was a little crunchy especially on the curly hair.

      Overall we LOVED it!! 

TIP! we used a blowdryer to help it dry faster!

How too: Dye your hair with Kool Aid


What you'll need:
 a pack of sugar free kool aid of any color, a small bowl, water, and conditioner. 



                                    #1.  put the kool aid in the bowl,
                       add a small amount of water and conditioner (make a paste)


 

                #2.  put a generous amount of the paste on the piece of hair you want to die,
                           than put a baggie over and secure it with a pony tail.

                     
                                  #3. leave it in over night, then rinse it out with cold water.





the lighter your hair is the better it shows, if you have dark hair try using a darker color like: 
 blue, red, or purple.



TIP! to get the kool aid off your hands/ out of your hair, rinse with baking soda!

how too: cornrowed french braids


                                 what you'll need: A rat tail comb, leave in moisturizer


                                             
    #1.  start with clean moisturized hair, and part hair from the nose to the back of the neck.
         

               #2.    start on one side, and part a triangle, cornrow three (or more) cornrows.



                       #3.  make a part from the tip of your triangle to the back of the head.




                                                  #4. cornrow the top half. 


   #5. cornrow the bottom half (make sure you line up your cornrows to mirror the top half)



                                    #6.   repete on the other side and your done!!







TIP! we added large beads to the ends of the braids then a few days later we took out the beads and added a bow.

it gives good curl definition without making your hair feel greasy, makes detangling easy, and it doesn't weigh your hair down!

the orange smell is really strong, and its not all natural.

Curly mohawk


what you'll need: a comb, hair bands, and curlers 





#1. part a triangle at the top of the head and cornrow.



                                               
                             #2.   part a section down the middle and braid it to get it out of the way.
         


                 #3.  on one side of the braid you just made, part the hair from the ear straight back.


#4. cornrow the top section of hair ( put rubber bands at the top of the cornrows, don't braid all the way to the end of the hair)


#5 cornrow the bottom half



#6  do the last three steps on the other side then....

put the curlers in! 




                                                 take curlers out your done!!









 TIP! add accessories (we laced ribbon through the cornrows )
